Restoring our Economy

Government is the problem, not the solution. Capitalism thrives on individuals pursuing their own self-interest. America is the most prosperous nation in human history BECAUSE freedom allows individuals to achieve their dreams. Every time government interferes with the economy, it reduces individual freedom and limits capitalism. The best thing government can do to encourage the economy is to get out of the way and let Americans do what they do best. In other words, stop interfering with the free market.

As your Congressman I will:

• Support the FairTax- This will bring 10 to 15 Trillion dollars, that are currently invested overseas, back into the US economy.
• Oppose Regulations that Interfere with Free Markets– Such as the so-called "Cap and Trade" tax.
• Oppose Bailouts of Failed Businesses– Bailouts reward failure while punishing success.
• Fight to Reduce the National Debt– Government debt weakens the dollar, increases inflation, and increases interest rates, all of which decrease business opportunities and the standard of living for all Americans.
